Microsoft MCP Servers

A catalog and shared engineering foundation for Microsoft's official Model Context Protocol server implementations, currently covering Azure and Microsoft Fabric, giving AI applications standardized access to Microsoft's data and tools.

Microsoft MCP Servers

Microsoft MCP is a catalog of Microsoft's official Model Context Protocol server implementations, along with the core libraries, test frameworks, engineering systems, pipelines and other shared tooling that its contributors use to build them, aiming to reduce duplication and divergence across servers. The Model Context Protocol itself is an open protocol that standardizes how applications, described in terms of hosts, clients and servers, provide context and tool access to large language models.

The repository currently lists the Azure MCP server and the Microsoft Fabric MCP server as the servers built from this codebase, each with its own README, changelog, release history, documentation and troubleshooting guide, giving AI assistants and IDEs a consistent way to connect to Azure and Fabric data and tools.

It is written in C# and licensed under MIT.
