Milvus Bootcamp

Tutorials, demos and example notebooks for building applications on the Milvus vector database, covering retrieval-augmented generation, semantic and hybrid search, recommendation and other unstructured-data search use cases.

Milvus Bootcamp

Milvus Bootcamp is a collection of tutorials, demos and Jupyter notebooks that teach Milvus, an open-source vector database, through hands-on examples. It covers retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, hybrid search, question answering, recommendation systems, and quick-start guides for image, audio and drug-discovery search.

Examples show Milvus used with LangChain and LlamaIndex, full-text and multi-vector hybrid search, graph RAG, contextual retrieval, vector visualization and HDBSCAN clustering. Each tutorial links the use case to the specific Milvus feature it exercises, such as vector search, dynamic fields or multi-vector search.

The material is meant to be worked through interactively as notebooks rather than read as reference documentation.

    ai-rete-rag.com

A platform that pairs a Rete rule engine with retrieval-augmented generation, so deterministic rules decide an outcome and grounded retrieval explains the decision in plain language.

  • Xtriever

    github.com

A hybrid retrieval engine for retrieval-augmented generation, written in Rust to run on-device on a phone or a laptop, combining lexical BM25 search, dense embedding search, reciprocal-rank fusion and cross-encoder re-ranking with no server.

  • FileFlux

    github.com

A .NET library that turns PDF, DOCX, HWP and other documents into optimized chunks for RAG systems, through a five-stage pipeline built on high-performance Rust FFI readers.
