MiniMax Agent for Linux
An unofficial Linux port of MiniMax's AI coding assistant desktop app, packaged as a .deb for Debian-based distributions and a .pkg.tar.zst for Arch-based distributions, since MiniMax does not officially support Linux.
This project repackages MiniMax Agent, an AI-powered code assistant desktop application, for Linux, a platform MiniMax does not currently ship an official build for. It provides a .deb package for Debian, Ubuntu and Linux Mint and a .pkg.tar.zst package for Arch, CachyOS and Manjaro, the latter built from a proper PKGBUILD following CachyOS packaging conventions rather than a converted Debian package, plus installation guidance for Fedora, openSUSE, NixOS and building from source.
The application runs in either a Classic mode, which the project reports as fully working with an existing credits balance, or a newer mode that may require a separate token plan and has a known limitation on this Linux build. Installation on Arch-based systems is offered as a one-line script, a manual prebuilt package, or, once published, an AUR helper.
