ModelContextProtocol.SemanticKernel

A .NET library that registers Model Context Protocol tools and servers as Microsoft Semantic Kernel functions, including servers already configured in Claude Desktop.

ModelContextProtocol.SemanticKernel

ModelContextProtocol.SemanticKernel integrates the Model Context Protocol, through the official C# SDK, with Microsoft Semantic Kernel. An extension method registers an MCP server's tools as Semantic Kernel plugin functions over stdio or server-sent events, so a Semantic Kernel application can call them the same way it calls any other kernel function.

It can also register every stdio MCP server already defined in a local Claude Desktop configuration file in one call, without re-declaring them. It ships as NuGet packages, is in preview with breaking changes possible, and is MIT licensed.
