mTarsier
An open source manager, written in Rust, for MCP servers and agent skills across every AI client on a machine, giving one dashboard to install, back up and roll back configuration.
mTarsier auto-detects installed AI clients, including Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, Codex and several others, and reads and writes each one's own configuration file format through one editor with syntax highlighting and live JSON validation. A marketplace lets a user browse and install MCP servers into any detected client in a few clicks, and every configuration change is backed up automatically with one-click rollback.
A parallel skills manager lets a user view, create and manage agent skills across every supported client, install a skill to one or many clients at once, copy a skill between clients, and browse a skills marketplace for community entries, alongside a built-in editor for writing or uploading a skill file directly. A companion command-line tool covers the same MCP and skill management from the terminal.
