MusePi

A desktop-first AI coding agent that ships as an Electron GUI, a terminal TUI, a background daemon and an always-on desktop companion, sharing one agent engine.

MusePi

MusePi is a standalone coding-agent platform combining an Electron desktop GUI, a daemon service and an always-on desktop pet, all sharing one agent engine and its own terminal command surface of slash commands, shell escapes, file mentions and references wired into the GUI. It describes itself as its own upstream project, absorbing reference material from projects such as oh-my-pi, Pi, DSH and opencode on demand rather than tracking their releases.

It installs with a one-line curl or PowerShell script that clones the repository and runs its setup script, or from source on any platform. It ships three downloadable surfaces: a desktop client for macOS, Windows and Linux with auto-update, an Android companion app that pairs over the local network, and a terminal TUI.

Features include native video understanding, MCP integration, an advisor mode, memory, multi-domain skills, and its own update channel independent of any upstream project's versioning.
