Nacos

A dynamic service discovery, configuration management and service management platform for building cloud-native and microservices applications, with newer support for registering AI agent and MCP servers.

Nacos

Nacos lets almost any kind of service register and discover others, including Dubbo/gRPC services, Spring Cloud RESTful services and Kubernetes services, with real-time health checks that keep traffic away from unhealthy instances. Its dynamic configuration service centrally manages configuration across environments so a configuration change does not require redeploying the applications that use it, and its dynamic DNS service supports weighted routing for load balancing, flexible routing policies and flow control without coupling an application to a vendor-specific service-discovery API. A service dashboard manages service metadata, configuration, Kubernetes DNS, health and metrics in one place.

It integrates with Dubbo, Spring Cloud and Kubernetes/Istio deployments, and its more recent releases add registries for MCP servers and A2A agents alongside its existing service registry, positioning it for cloud-native AI applications as well as traditional microservices.

It is written in Java and licensed under Apache-2.0.
