NanoTeams

NanoTeams is a free, open-source macOS app that runs an AI coding agent and coordinated multi-agent teams entirely on-device through Ollama or LM Studio, with an autonomous supervisor that can plan, run and review its own tasks.

NanoTeams

A user can chat with a coding assistant to read and edit files directly, or hand small changes to a coding agent, or assemble a full team of configurable AI roles that plan, build, review and ship work inside a sandboxed folder. An optional supervisor called Autovisor can run that whole folder on its own once enabled.

Because a team is just a set of AI roles the user configures, the same engine is also used for non-coding tasks such as drafting documents, planning projects or running research, and it can control git, Xcode and the screen when needed.

It is a native Swift and SwiftUI application with no third-party dependencies beyond Apple's own frameworks, requires macOS 15 or later and a local Ollama or LM Studio install, and is released under the MIT license.
