Nav Copilot Customizations

A collection of GitHub Copilot customizations, including specialized agents, coding-standard instructions, prompt templates and Model Context Protocol servers, built for the Norwegian government's own technology stack.

Nav Copilot Customizations

Nav Copilot Customizations packages ten specialized AI agents for different domains, sixteen instruction files that activate automatically based on file patterns to enforce coding standards, seven scaffolding prompt templates, thirty-three skills drawn from production patterns in real internal repositories, and approved MCP servers from an internal registry. All of it is discoverable through a searchable internal tools page with installation guidance.

nav-pilot is both a CLI tool and a Copilot Chat agent: the CLI configures a repository with the right agents, skills and instructions and sets up a token-optimized integration, while the agent walks a developer through four phases in Copilot Chat: interview, plan, review and deliver. The CLI is distributed through an apt repository that refreshes hourly from the latest release, alongside a companion tool, or through an install script for non-Debian systems and CI.

It is written in Go and licensed under MIT.
