Neo4j Labs MCP Servers

A collection of Model Context Protocol servers from Neo4j Labs that let an MCP client such as Claude Desktop or an IDE assistant query a Neo4j database and the Aura cloud service in natural language.

Neo4j Labs MCP Servers

This repository packages several MCP servers maintained by the Neo4j Field GenAI team as part of the Neo4j Labs program: mcp-neo4j-cypher, which gets a configured database's schema and executes generated read and write Cypher queries (it requires the APOC plugin for schema inspection); mcp-neo4j-memory, which stores and retrieves entities and relationships in a personal knowledge graph inside Neo4j across sessions and clients; mcp-neo4j-cloud-aura-api, which manages Neo4j Aura instances directly, including creating, destroying, scaling and enabling features; and mcp-neo4j-data-modeling, which creates, validates and visualizes Neo4j graph data models with import and export support for Arrows.app.

All servers support multiple transport modes, including stdio for local tools and Server-Sent Events. They are actively developed but carry no SLA or backward-compatibility guarantee, and are separate from Neo4j's officially supported MCP server.
