neocursor.nvim

A Neovim plugin that drives Cursor's own next-edit prediction backend, giving Neovim the same ghost-text suggestions and cursor jumps as the Cursor editor, using an existing Cursor login.

neocursor.nvim

neocursor.nvim connects Neovim to Cursor's real StreamCpp backend for next-edit predictions, so a user already signed into the Cursor desktop app gets the same predictions, at the same latency, as Cursor itself, with no separate API key, account or model choice. It aims for 1:1 parity with Cursor's Tab feature and is currently in beta.

Pressing the completion key jumps to or accepts a predicted edit, or chains to the next one; a second key accepts the suggestion word by word, and separate keys dismiss a suggestion with or without leaving insert mode. It requires Neovim 0.10 or newer and the uv tool on PATH, which runs a Python sidecar that finds Cursor's existing session; it works on macOS, Linux and Windows, including Flatpak, Snap and WSL setups.
