Nimbalyst

An open-source, MIT-licensed visual workspace for running and reviewing multiple coding agents such as Codex, Claude Code and OpenCode in parallel, with WYSIWYG editors, session tracking and an iOS companion.

Nimbalyst

Nimbalyst is an open-source visual workspace for working with Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode and other coding agents. Sessions, worktrees, tasks, docs, diagrams, mockups, commits and code all live in one place, and the same files a coding agent edits are visually editable by the user through built-in WYSIWYG editors for Markdown, mockups, Mermaid, Excalidraw, CSV, data models and code in Monaco, with a red/green diff view for stepping through and accepting or rejecting each proposed edit.

Multiple coding agents can run at once, each isolated in its own git worktree, tracked on a session kanban board that can be searched, resumed and linked to the files they touched; a task tracker holds plans, bugs, features and to-dos that both the user and the agents read and update. Git branching, staging, AI-drafted commits and an embedded terminal are built in, and an MCP client renders connected server results as visual widgets rather than raw JSON. Everything is stored as plain files in the user's own git repository.

It ships as a free, MIT-licensed desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, with an iOS companion app.
