NocoDB

A self-hostable, open-source alternative to Airtable that turns a spreadsheet-style interface into a database with a generated REST API.

NocoDB

NocoDB is a self-hostable platform for building databases through a spreadsheet-style interface, positioned as an alternative to Airtable. It supports SQLite and PostgreSQL as backing stores, and provides create, read, update and delete operations on tables, columns and rows, along with sorting, filtering, grouping and hiding fields.

Data can be viewed through several view types, including grid, gallery, form, Kanban and calendar views. The project is distributed as a Docker image with either SQLite or PostgreSQL, and also ships prebuilt binaries for macOS, Linux and Windows for local testing, plus an auto-upstall script that generates a production Docker Compose setup on a server.

NocoDB is written in TypeScript and documents a REST/Swagger API for building on top of the databases it manages.
