Object UI

A schema-driven UI rendering engine that turns a JSON schema into production React components such as grids, kanban boards, dashboards and Gantt charts, so an AI agent can generate UI as compact JSON instead of hand-written React.

Object UI

Object UI is a standalone, schema-driven renderer that turns a JSON schema, or metadata from the ObjectStack ecosystem, into production-grade React user interfaces without hand-written component code. Because the input is a compact JSON schema rather than React source, an agent that would otherwise have to write and refactor React across many screens can instead emit and edit a schema, keeping every screen consistent by construction.

One schema can describe several view types, including dashboards, Gantt schedules, kanban boards and calendars, and the project also ships visual designers for building those views without writing schema by hand. It can be used standalone against any backend, similar to tools such as Amis or Formily, or used together with the ObjectStack protocol and toolkit to render a complete application end to end. A SchemaRenderer component exposes a single schema prop and forwards any other props unchanged to the component the schema names, so the renderer's expression scope only reaches components through the provider rather than through arbitrary props.

It is written in TypeScript, installed as npm packages or a standalone CLI, and MIT licensed.
