oli

An open-source, terminal-based AI coding assistant with agentic file search, editing and command execution, built as a Rust backend paired with a React and Ink terminal interface, supporting both cloud model APIs and local models through Ollama.

oli

oli positions itself as an open-source alternative to Claude Code, using a hybrid architecture: a Rust backend handles performance and core agent functionality, while a React and Ink frontend renders an interactive terminal UI. It supports tool use, including file search, editing and command execution, across Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT-4o, Google Gemini and local models run through Ollama, such as Qwen 2.5 Coder models chosen for their function-calling support.

Cloud providers are configured through API keys in a local environment file, while Ollama models require starting the Ollama server locally and pulling a model before selecting it from oli's model menu. The README describes the project as being in a very early stage, prone to bugs, and asks users to report issues as they find them.

    github.com

A native macOS app that shows Claude Code runs as a city, with each project as a building, each team as a floor of robots, and every animation driven by a real event from the claude CLI's stream.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
