OMGF

A WordPress plugin that automatically detects the Google Fonts a theme or plugin loads and caches them locally, to remove the external requests and make font loading GDPR compliant.

OMGF

OMGF scans pages served by a WordPress site for Google Fonts requested by the active theme and plugins, then downloads and serves them from the site's own server instead of Google's, removing the DNS lookups and IP logging that loading fonts directly from Google involves.

Detected fonts appear in an Optimize Local Fonts settings screen, where they can be preloaded to reduce layout shift, unloaded if unused, or replaced with a fallback font stack; some of these options require the paid Pro version. A built-in Google Fonts checker re-scans network requests after optimization to confirm no externally hosted fonts remain, and a Performance Checker monitors for unused subsets, unused font styles or weights, and missing preloads that would hurt page performance.

It is distributed for free through the official WordPress plugin repository.
