OmniMem

A self-hosted MCP server that gives an AI coding agent persistent memory of past decisions, failed approaches and project context across sessions, machines and projects.

OmniMem

OmniMem gives an AI coding agent, such as Claude Code, memory that persists between sessions, so a mistake already diagnosed once, like a library that crashes on a particular platform, surfaces as a warning instead of being rediscovered. It runs entirely on the user's own hardware as a self-hosted MCP server.

It stores five kinds of memory that are searched together at recall time: episodic memories of decisions and bug fixes, project context such as stack and goals, knowledge summarized from configured RSS feeds on a schedule, preferences extracted automatically from conversations, and compiled skill documents built from accumulated experience in a domain. It installs with a one-line script that pulls pre-built Docker images.
