OpenBot

A local-first desktop workspace that gives each AI teammate, backed by Codex, Claude Code, Grok, OpenCode or Gemini, its own persistent workspace, task queue and conversation, with agent-to-agent messaging, file transfers and a shared embedded browser they can control.

OpenBot

OpenBot supports the local Codex App Server, Claude Code, Grok CLI, OpenCode and Gemini through ACP, giving every agent an independent workspace and session backed by its own local files, custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints, and detection of local model servers such as Ollama or LM Studio. Each agent gets per-agent context monitoring with automatic compaction before a long thread exhausts the model's context window, FIFO message queues with pause, resume and crash-safe persistence, and a persistent embedded browser it can open, inspect and control, with optional Computer Use support on macOS, Windows and Linux through a separate driver process.

Agents can message, reply to and react to each other, share images, and transfer managed files, and a shared desktop channel lets a team of agents work under one task owner with explicit delegation and shared history. The README states plainly that this is a development preview: agents currently run with full file, command and network access and no per-action approval after an initial consent step, so it recommends running only trusted agents and tasks and keeping backups.
