OpenDev

A terminal-native coding agent, written in Rust, that routes execution, reasoning, context-compaction, self-critique and vision workflows to independently configured models rather than one single model.

OpenDev

OpenDev is a terminal-native coding agent built as a compound system of specialized subagents rather than a single model handling every step. Five workflow slots, Normal execution, Thinking (reasoning), Compact (context summarization), Self-Critique (output verification) and VLM (vision), each bind to any model a user configures, so, for example, one model can handle execution while a different, lighter model handles context compaction.

Work is organized into concurrent sessions made up of these specialized subagents, and the project reports a startup time of 4.3 milliseconds and about 9.4 MB of peak memory on Apple Silicon, measured against comparable coding agents. It is distributed as an 18 MB single binary; a public website and documentation were not yet available at the time of writing.

    github.com

A native macOS app that shows Claude Code runs as a city, with each project as a building, each team as a floor of robots, and every animation driven by a real event from the claude CLI's stream.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
