opensessions

A tmux sidebar that tracks coding-agent sessions, showing agent state, repo breadcrumbs and quick jumps between panes for Amp, Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode.

opensessions

opensessions is a sidebar plugin for tmux built for developers running multiple coding-agent sessions, localhost tabs and terminals at once. It adds one small pane inside an existing tmux workflow for switching between sessions, seeing per-thread agent state, and jumping back to the right terminal, without replacing tmux itself.

It installs through TPM and, on first load, downloads a prebuilt release bundle containing a sidebar binary, a server, and a bundled diff tool called lazydiff; building from source with Cargo is also supported. tmux is the only fully supported multiplexer; an existing zellij integration is present but unmaintained.

It is written in Rust with the ratatui terminal UI library for native performance with no runtime dependencies.
