paperclip-mcp
An MCP server that exposes the Paperclip AI agent orchestration platform's REST API as about 95 tools, aimed at the person operating a company of agents rather than the agents doing the work.
paperclip-mcp wraps the Paperclip platform's REST API as Model Context Protocol tools that a human operator can call from Claude Code, Claude Desktop or another MCP client, covering issues, agents, goals, projects, approvals, costs and budgets, routines, decisions, pipelines and an attention feed.
It is positioned as a companion to Paperclip's own official MCP server, which is aimed at agents running inside a heartbeat loop and is written in TypeScript with roughly 45 tools. This Python server instead adds operator-facing capabilities such as waking, pausing and resuming agents, hiring, budgets, cost breakdowns, routines and decisions, and it understands board-level API keys, running over HTTP or stdio.
It is written in Python and released under the MIT license.
