Parallel Code

Parallel Code is a free, open-source desktop app that runs Claude Code, Codex and Gemini side by side, each isolated in its own git worktree and branch, so several coding agents can work on different tasks at once without touching each other's changes.

Parallel Code

Parallel Code dispatches AI coding agents in parallel, each in its own git worktree, so a developer can review the diffs afterward, merge the ones that work, and discard the rest. When a task is created, it makes a new git branch from the main branch, sets up a worktree for it, symlinks node_modules and other gitignored directories into that worktree, and starts the chosen agent inside it.

It supports Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI and Copilot CLI from one interface, with a tiled panel layout, a focus mode for a single task, keyboard-first controls, and monitoring of running agents from a phone over Wi-Fi or Tailscale by scanning a QR code. An inline code question-and-answer feature can use Claude Code or another supported model, and the tool is free, open source and does not require a separate subscription.
