Patent & Literature Search MCP
An MCP server that searches global patent databases and peer-reviewed scientific literature in natural language from inside Claude, Cursor or another MCP-compatible client, returning results as AI-readable markdown.
Patent & Literature Search MCP gives an AI agent direct access to Patsnap's patent and academic-literature databases through the Model Context Protocol, so a single natural-language research request can search both patents and papers and combine the results for the model to reason over. It supports semantic, keyword, BM25 and structured search.
Patent search covers international authorities such as WIPO and the EPO, major national offices including the USPTO, CNIPA, JPO and KIPO, and further jurisdictions across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa, with filtering by assignee, inventor, IPC class, legal status, date range and citations. Literature search covers peer-reviewed scientific papers, including sources such as PubMed, arXiv, Nature and Science, with semantic and keyword search.
