Pi Agent IDE

An IDE extension that gives the Pi coding agent a unified, semantic interface for reading, searching, editing, running, debugging and observing code, instead of a separate tool for each task.

Pi Agent IDE

A single read interface inspects files, directories, source code, JSON through real jq filters, web pages, PDFs, images, diagnostics, git changes, and terminal, debugger, process and window state, presenting each as source structure, editable anchors, diagnostics or an image as needed, without a separate tool per source type.

A single search interface covers paths, exact text, regular expressions, AST patterns, symbols, references, code relationships, process discovery and retained terminal output, returning reusable references that flow directly into read or an edit. Edits are expressed as intentions such as write, replace, insert, delete, copy and move, and independent edits can be batched together or run as transactional JavaScript for conditional, multi-file work.

It is written in TypeScript and distributed as a package for the Pi coding agent.
