Pi Atelier

A terminal extension for the Pi coding agent that adds a status rail and a live sidebar showing the active model, context usage, Git status, cost and tool activity while a session runs.

Pi Atelier

Pi Atelier adds a responsive status rail to Pi's input composer and a side panel to the terminal, keeping the current model, thinking level, context and token usage, cost, and session details visible without switching away from the conversation. A control-center command opens a larger view, including a subagent cost graph with per-child cost curves and matching legends, drawn with native graphics on Kitty-compatible terminals and as text strokes elsewhere.

It also shows a read-only Git status for the current workspace, live agent and tool activity with TODOs and completion notifications, and a choice of eleven color themes. It requires Pi 0.84 or newer, Node.js 22.19 or newer, and an interactive terminal, and works best with a monospace or Nerd Font for icon rendering. The project states that it sends no telemetry or external network requests.
