Pi Coding Agent Action

A GitHub Action that runs the Pi coding agent inside GitHub-compatible CI/CD workflows, letting it work on issues and pull requests on GitHub, Codeberg or self-hosted Forgejo.

Pi Coding Agent Action

Pi Coding Agent Action integrates the Pi coding agent into CI/CD pipelines on any platform that offers GitHub-compatible APIs and environment variables, including GitHub, Codeberg and self-hosted Forgejo. It runs Pi's command-line workflow inside a workflow job, loading skills, extensions and an AGENTS.md file, and can reply automatically to comments or share session transcripts.

The action can be invoked interactively, by prefixing an issue or pull request comment with "/pi ", or programmatically as a workflow step. Typical uses include having the agent analyze an issue and open a fix, review every new pull request, or run scheduled maintenance tasks such as dependency audits and documentation updates. Inputs and outputs let multiple Pi sessions or other actions be chained together.

It is written in TypeScript and released under the MIT license.
