pi-vs-cc

A collection of customized Pi Coding Agent setups showing how to build custom UI, agent orchestration, safety auditing and two-way agent-to-agent communication.

pi-vs-cc

pi-vs-cc is a collection of customized instances of the Pi Coding Agent, built to show what it looks like to compete with Claude Code, the leading agentic coding tool, by demonstrating UI customization, agent orchestration tooling, safety auditing and cross-agent integrations. It includes examples of Pi-to-Pi agent-to-agent communication, where one agent instance can hand work to or communicate with another.

Running it requires Bun, the just task runner, and the Pi Coding Agent CLI. API keys for providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and OpenRouter are supplied through shell environment variables before Pi is launched, since Pi does not read a .env file itself; the repository ships a sample environment file and several ways to source it automatically. It is written in TypeScript and licensed under MIT.
