Pinecone Java SDK

The official Java client library for the Pinecone vector database, letting JVM applications create and query Pinecone indexes over a shared HTTP client.

Pinecone Java SDK

The Pinecone Java SDK lets JVM applications interact with Pinecone's vector database services. It is distributed through Maven Central, or as a standalone uberjar that bundles the SDK with all of its dependencies for projects that prefer a single classpath entry.

The client is built around a Pinecone class instantiated with an API key, either passed directly or read from an environment variable. Internally it shares a single OkHttpClient instance across control-plane and inference operations, which the documentation recommends reusing rather than recreating per request, and it supports a custom OkHttpClient and HTTP proxy configuration for control- and data-plane calls.

It requires at least Java 1.8 and is licensed under Apache-2.0.
