Pinecone Scala Client

A community-maintained, async Scala client for the Pinecone vector database API, covering vector, collection, index, inference, and assistant operations with minimal dependencies.

Pinecone Scala Client

Pinecone Scala Client is an asynchronous Scala client library for the Pinecone vector database API, offering vector operations (describe index stats, query, delete, fetch, update, upsert), collection operations (list, create, describe, delete), index operations (list, create, describe, delete, configure), inference operations (embed data, rerank, evaluate), and assistant operations such as creating and managing assistants, files, and chat, through dedicated service classes.

Its method names match the Pinecone API's own endpoint titles in camelCase for consistency with the official API, and it aims to stay self-contained, depending on only two libraries, play-ahc-ws-standalone and play-ws-standalone-json, at the top level. It supports Scala 2.12, 2.13, and 3, is added as an sbt or Maven dependency, and is configured through environment variables or a file-based configuration.

It is a community-maintained project with no official relationship to Pinecone.
