Ping Island

Ping Island is a macOS menu-bar app that shows the status of your AI coding-agent sessions in a Dynamic-Island-style popup, lets you answer a waiting agent's question, and jumps you back to the right terminal or IDE window.

Ping Island

Ping Island is a macOS menu bar application that monitors active AI coding sessions across many supported clients, including Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and others. It expands from the notch on notch-screen Macs to show session context and action controls whenever an agent needs attention.

From the popup you can watch session status, answer a waiting agent's follow-up question, and jump back to the terminal or IDE window that session is running in. It installs from a Homebrew cask or a downloaded DMG, and can also be built from source with Xcode on macOS 14 or later.
