Pixeltable
A Python library that combines a multimodal database, computed-column orchestration and HTTP serving into a single file, so a coding agent can write and review a whole data application at once.
Pixeltable is the database, orchestration and serving layer for applications a coding agent builds. Images, video, audio and documents live in ordinary tables; a data transform is defined as a computed column, and an index or an HTTP route is just another declaration. Inserting a row triggers everything defined below it, so object storage, a vector database, an orchestrator and serving code that would otherwise be four separate systems collapse into one application file that an agent can write and a person can review in a single diff.
A command-line tool creates a project, updates its schema and tables, and starts or updates the HTTP service that project defines; the same file can also run on a hosted Pixeltable Cloud, currently in limited beta, by signing in and pushing the project. It installs into an agent as a skill, an MCP server, or a Cursor or ChatGPT plugin, and is built on Postgres.
