projectmem

projectmem is an MCP server that gives a coding agent memory of what has already been tried on a project: it records issues, attempted fixes, and the decisions behind them, then warns the agent before it repeats an approach that already failed. Since version 0.3, one MCP server instance serves every registered project rather than needing separate configuration per project.

A pjm doctor command finds existing projects with memory under common code directories and every drive on Windows, registers them, and checks that a client's MCP configuration points at all of them rather than a single repository. It installs with pip, makes no network calls unless asked to check for updates, and generates a local visualization of every case a project has solved from its event log.
