Puter

A self-hostable, open-source cloud operating system that gives developers cloud storage, a database, serverless workers and AI access for building and publishing web apps.

Puter

Puter is an open-source, self-hostable cloud operating system designed to be extensible. For end users, it bundles apps such as a notepad, voice recorder, spreadsheet and camera, aiming to provide the software people need in one place, accessible from a browser.

For developers, Puter provides the building blocks for building and publishing web apps and games, including AI access, cloud storage, a database and serverless workers, and an App Store where built apps can be published to reach and monetize users. It can be run locally with npm and Node.js, self-hosted with a provided install script on Linux, macOS or Windows, or used as a hosted service at puter.com.

The project is written in TypeScript and released under the AGPL-3.0 license, with translations maintained for many languages.
