PyMilvus

The official Python SDK for the Milvus vector database, giving Python applications a client library matched to specific Milvus server versions.

PyMilvus

PyMilvus is the Python client library for Milvus, an open-source vector database. It is versioned to track specific Milvus server releases, so a project picks a PyMilvus version that matches the Milvus version it connects to, from early 1.0 releases through current 3.0 releases.

It installs from PyPI for Python 3.9 and later, with optional extras for a bundled local model and for a bulk writer used to load large amounts of data efficiently. The project also includes its own test suite and lint and format tooling for contributors.

It is written in Python and released under the Apache-2.0 license.
