Python Qdrant Client

The official Python client and SDK for the Qdrant vector search engine, with type definitions for the full API, synchronous and asynchronous requests, and a local mode that runs without a server.

Python Qdrant Client

Python Qdrant Client is the client library and SDK for the Qdrant vector search engine. It includes type hints for every Qdrant API method, supports both synchronous and asynchronous requests over REST and gRPC, and adds helper methods for common operations such as bulk collection uploads.

A local mode runs the same code without a Qdrant server, storing data in memory or persisting it to disk, which is useful for development, prototyping, CI test suites, and notebooks such as Colab or Jupyter without extra dependencies; switching to a running server needs no code changes. The client can also connect to a self-hosted Qdrant server over Docker or to Qdrant Cloud with an API key.

An optional Inference API creates embeddings locally through FastEmbed, built on ONNX Runtime, or remotely using models hosted on Qdrant Cloud.

    clickin.github.io

A SQL-first data-access toolkit for TypeScript that keeps ordinary SQL visible in tagged template literals, binds interpolated values safely by default, supports readable conditional SQL directives, and lets a schema validate the returned rows.

  • A SQL-style query language and toolchain for the Qdrant vector database, covering dense, sparse and hybrid search, filtering and multitenancy, with the same grammar running from a CLI, Python, Node.js, Rust, WebAssembly and an in-process edge engine.
