qdrant-txtai

An integration that lets the txtai semantic search library use Qdrant as its vector storage backend, including cluster deployments for datasets too large for one machine.

qdrant-txtai

qdrant-txtai connects the txtai library, which builds semantic search applications on top of transformer embeddings, to Qdrant as its vector storage backend. Qdrant can run as a single Docker container for development or scale out to a cluster when embeddings no longer fit on one machine.

The package installs with pip and can be configured either programmatically, by pointing a txtai Embeddings instance at the Qdrant backend class, or through a YAML configuration file that also exposes Qdrant-specific connection options such as host, port, gRPC and the distance metric used for similarity.
