Query | MCP server for Supabase

Query MCP is an MCP server for Supabase that lets a connected IDE safely run SQL, manage schema changes, call the Supabase Management API, and use the Auth Admin SDK. It separates read-only from read-write SQL execution, validates queries at runtime with a risk-level assessment, and applies a three-tier safety system across safe, write and destructive operations, alongside automatic versioning of schema changes.

It installs with pipx or uv as supabase-mcp-server, and works with Cursor, Windsurf, Cline and other MCP clients that support the stdio protocol. Its author states that Supabase has since released an official MCP server and no longer actively maintains this one, recommending the official server for continued updates.
