QuickBooks Online MCP Server
A local Model Context Protocol server giving AI assistants full CRUD access to QuickBooks Online's 29 entity types and 11 financial reports through OAuth 2.0.
This MCP server runs as a stdio subprocess on the developer's or partner's own machine and provides complete QuickBooks Online API coverage for Claude Code and other MCP clients: 145 tools spanning create, read, update, delete and search across 29 entity types, plus 11 financial reports such as balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow. It is written in TypeScript with Zod validation and a Jest test suite.
Using it requires registering an app on the Intuit Developer Portal and completing a one-time OAuth handshake; sandbox environments accept a localhost redirect while production requires a public HTTPS callback. After that initial handshake the server runs locally, refreshing its token automatically for up to 100 days, and a configurable token-store path supports read-only or containerized deployments.
