React-Search

A React UI widget that adds Vectara-powered semantic search to a React application with a few lines of code, including a search input, results modal and configurable behavior.

React-Search

React-Search is a component that connects a React application to Vectara's semantic search service using a customer ID, corpus ID and API key. It renders a search input that opens a modal with a query prompt and ranked results, and can be configured with a custom API proxy URL, placeholder text, a deep-linkable search query stored in the URL, opening results in a new tab, and a toggle for summarizing search results.

It is installed as an npm package and is part of a small family of related Vectara open-source projects that also cover a chatbot widget, a generator for search-UI codebases, a summarized-search demo application, and sample data-ingestion crawlers.
