ReActMCP Web Search

An MCP server that adds real-time, markdown-formatted web search to an AI assistant using the Exa API, with basic and filtered advanced search modes.

ReActMCP Web Search

ReActMCP Web Search is a Model Context Protocol server that adds web search to an AI assistant framework through the Exa API. It performs both basic searches and advanced searches with filters such as domain restrictions, required text and date ranges, returning results formatted in markdown with titles, URLs, publication dates and content summaries.

It is part of a broader ReActMCP project connecting various MCP tools and servers to extend an AI assistant's capabilities, and is configured through environment variables for the Exa and OpenAI API keys, an MCP configuration file, and a system prompt file that sets the assistant's tone.

It is written in Python and licensed under MIT.
