Reasonix

A DeepSeek-native coding agent for the terminal, packaged as a single Go binary, reachable from a CLI, a desktop app, a browser, or an editor over the Agent Client Protocol.

Reasonix

Reasonix runs one local engine behind four entry points -- terminal, desktop app (Reasonix Studio), browser, and editor integrations over ACP -- with a plan mode, permission controls, a workspace sandbox and per-turn checkpoints meant to keep a long autonomous run inspectable and reversible. Providers, the agent, enabled tools and plugins are all declared in a reasonix.toml configuration file rather than hardcoded; DeepSeek ships as a preset, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint can be added as configuration, including running an executor model and a planner model together in separate, cache-stable sessions.

MCP servers contribute tools, prompts and resources, and an Extension Protocol lets sidecars intercept runtime events and contribute providers or UI. It maintains a small stable context summary at startup and prunes stale tool output before compacting the conversation to keep the model's prompt cache stable.

It compiles to a single static binary for six platform targets and is licensed under the MIT license.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
