Remodex

An iOS app and local-first Mac bridge that lets you control a Codex or OpenCode coding agent session running on your Mac from your iPhone.

Remodex

Remodex pairs an iPhone app with a background bridge service on a Mac so a Codex or OpenCode coding session running on the Mac can be controlled remotely. Pairing and chats between the phone and Mac are end-to-end encrypted, and the app supports steering an active run without restarting it, queuing follow-up prompts, launching subagents, tuning how much reasoning Codex uses, and running git actions such as commit, push, pull, and branch switching from the phone.

The bridge stays local-first: the public app does not embed a hosted server, and the transport layer is inspectable for anyone who wants to run their own setup, though the automatic background-daemon reconnect flow is currently macOS-only. The project is early and not yet accepting outside contributions, and is distributed both through the App Store and as source to build yourself in Xcode.
