Rulesync

Rulesync is a Node.js CLI that keeps AI coding tool configuration in one place instead of duplicating it per tool. From a unified .rulesync/ source of rule files, it generates the tool-specific configuration each supported AI development tool expects, covering rules, ignore files, MCP configuration, commands, subagents and skills, and it can generate selectively by target and feature.

It can also import an existing tool's configuration into the unified format, for example from CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules or a Copilot instructions file, or convert configuration directly from one tool to another without adopting the unified workflow at all. It installs with npm, a Homebrew tap, or a single downloadable binary.
