Scrumboy

A self-hosted project management and issue tracker with customizable Kanban boards, calendar and sticky-note views, real-time collaboration, and MCP-based automation for AI agents.

Scrumboy

Scrumboy is a Go application that runs with no required setup: it starts instantly, needs no .env file, TLS certificate or encryption key to begin, and stores its data in a SQLite database under a local data directory by default. It provides customizable and shareable boards, cross-project workload and flow analytics, a calendar and agenda view, a sticky-note wall, import and export with backups, and email notifications.

It supports system-wide and per-project roles, optional OIDC/SSO login, two-factor authentication with an encryption key, SMTP-based password reset, and TLS for production deployments. Automation and AI-agent integration go through an MCP (JSON-RPC) interface and outbound webhooks. It ships as a Docker image, a Windows or macOS executable, or can be built from source with Go, and is licensed under AGPL-3.0.
