senpi

senpi is an experimental, opinionated fork of pi-mono that rebrands its coding-agent runtime and adds a curated set of built-in extensions, serving as the coding-agent runtime behind the Dori AI assistant.

senpi

senpi forks badlogic/pi-mono, a TypeScript monorepo for building AI agents and managing LLM deployments, and rebrands its coding agent as senpi while adding a curated set of builtin extensions and core tweaks on top of upstream. It is described by its authors as experimental and not meant for production pipelines.

The monorepo includes packages for an application-composition runtime (chord), vendor-neutral telemetry (pi-telemetry), a unified multi-provider LLM API (pi-ai), an agent runtime with tool calling and state management (pi-agent-core), an interactive coding-agent CLI (pi-coding-agent), and a terminal UI library with differential rendering (pi-tui). senpi reuses several ideas from the heavier OMO opencode harness, such as an intent gate, dynamic prompts and per-model presets, while trying to stay closer to upstream pi-mono; core source modifications are tracked in per-directory changes.md files so upstream merges remain reviewable.
