Shadcn UI v4 MCP Server
An MCP server that gives AI coding assistants access to shadcn/ui component source code, demos, blocks, and metadata across React, Vue, Svelte, and React Native.
Shadcn UI v4 MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants structured access to shadcn/ui v4 components, blocks, demos, and metadata, so an agent can retrieve real component source instead of guessing at an API. It supports React, Svelte, Vue, and React Native implementations of the component library, plus full block implementations such as dashboards, calendars, and forms.
It can run over stdio for local CLI use, over Server-Sent Events for multi-client and production deployments, or both at once, and ships a Docker image for containerized deployment. A GitHub token can be supplied for higher API rate limits when browsing the component repository. It installs directly into Claude Desktop through a downloadable extension package, or manually into other MCP-compatible clients.
It is written in TypeScript and released under the MIT license.
