Smithers

An agentic workflow framework and hosted codebase-maintainer agent that turns issues into reviewed, tested changes and keeps a project's wiki current, with workflows defined as TypeScript configuration files.

Smithers

Smithers defines automation flows as TypeScript configuration files and executes them quickly and reliably. The hosted app opens the target repository in a browser, where a developer can explore its files, ask for work in chat, and inspect runs and changes in the conversation before signing in with GitHub to contribute; free and paid plans control deployment availability.

For local execution and authoring flows directly, a CLI and libraries are installed from source, since the 1.0 release candidate is not yet published to a package registry; the required platform for the release candidate is Linux with a recent Node.js version. A scaffolded flow is started with an init command followed by a flow-start command, after configuring the credential its model field requires.
