Soliplex

A self-hosted, full-stack retrieval-augmented generation system with a FastAPI backend built on pydantic-ai, a Flutter client, and a terminal UI, deployable by having an AI coding agent install its published Agent Skills.

Soliplex

Soliplex is a self-hosted RAG/AI system consisting of a FastAPI backend that is a thin configuration and authentication layer around pydantic-ai, a hardened Flutter client, and a terminal UI.

Rather than cloning and hacking on this repository directly, the project publishes two Agent Skills that teach a skills-compatible AI agent such as Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot how to deploy and operate a deployment: soliplex-template scaffolds a complete Docker Compose stack (nginx, the backend, the Flutter frontend, an ingester, Postgres, and a TUI) after prompting for project name, ports, an Ollama URL, model choices, and auth mode, and soliplex-docs bundles the full documentation so the agent can answer configuration and operation questions from it directly.

Each skill is a tarball unpacked into the skills directory an agent scans, which differs by agent -- for example ~/.claude/skills or .claude/skills for Claude Code, or the equivalent Codex and Copilot locations.

A platform that pairs a Rete rule engine with retrieval-augmented generation, so deterministic rules decide an outcome and grounded retrieval explains the decision in plain language.

A hybrid retrieval engine for retrieval-augmented generation, written in Rust to run on-device on a phone or a laptop, combining lexical BM25 search, dense embedding search, reciprocal-rank fusion and cross-encoder re-ranking with no server.
