Supabase MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol server that connects AI assistants such as Cursor, Claude, and Windsurf to a Supabase project so they can manage tables, fetch configuration, and query data.

Supabase MCP Server

Supabase MCP Server standardizes how AI assistants talk to a Supabase project through the Model Context Protocol, letting tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Windsurf manage database tables, fetch project configuration, and query data directly. Most clients are configured by pointing them at a hosted MCP URL, which then prompts a login to Supabase and a choice of organization.

A custom MCP URL can be generated from the Supabase dashboard's connection tab to scope the server to one project, and a local Supabase CLI installation exposes a similar but reduced set of tools without OAuth. A published package also exports schemas for the Vercel AI SDK's MCP client, giving static, type-checked tool definitions for TypeScript projects.

It is written in TypeScript and released under the Apache License 2.0.
