Supertag CLI
A command-line tool for querying, writing and syncing a Tana workspace, including semantic search, delta sync through Tana's own Local API, and an MCP server for AI tool integration.
Supertag integrates with Tana's official Local API and MCP server, extending beyond read-only exports and basic node creation to editing nodes, managing tags, setting field values, checking off tasks and trashing nodes from the command line or through any MCP-compatible AI tool. A delta-sync mode uses the Local API to fetch only nodes changed since the last sync, and the tool automatically falls back to Tana's older Input API when Tana Desktop and its Local API are not running.
It ships as three separate binaries: the main CLI for querying, writing, syncing and running a server, a browser-automation tool for exports, and an MCP server for AI tool integration, distributed as prebuilt binaries for macOS, Linux and Windows. Its own query language supports graph traversal, aggregation, time-based filtering, semantic search over embeddings, bulk field export and generating typed schema classes from a Tana workspace's supertags.
